At Saltwater Athletics: CrossFit, Strength and Conditioning (and the home of Garden State Crossfit!), we want our members to feel that there is immense value in their membership, so we’ve added ROMWOD to our daily programming.  We’re not looking to simply “get you strong.” Our goal is to improve your overall fitness, which includes cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.  So what’s ROMWOD, and why should you care that this is now part of your membership!?

ROMWOD (or “Range of Motion Workout of the Day”) is a program that creates daily videos designed to optimize range of motion, boost athletic progression and accelerate recovery.  The videos are designed for you to plug in your headphones, press play, and get moving.  You’ll be walked through a series of stretches and breathing exercises that will prime you for a workout, help you stretch and relieve tension post-WOD, or simply add into your daily routine to improve mobility, recovery and performance.  

Now when you open the SugarWOD app, where we load our daily workouts, you can scroll to the bottom and play the daily ROMWOD video.  You have the freedom and flexibility to choose when and how frequently you’d like to incorporate this into your routine, but it’s now an added perk for the Saltwater crew that’s included with your membership!
